Spring into action and discover BC's best kept secret. Hike the 180 km renowned Sunshine Coast Trail where you can go from ocean shore to mountain ridge to lakeside and explore the majestic old-growth forest. Ride where the pros ride with biking trails suitable for all experience levels. Relax and refresh at one of our many spas or revive your spirit with yoga on the beach. All this within a short ferry ride from the Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island.  Visit www.sunshinecoastcanada.com for special deals and promotions, making staying here an easy and affordable getaway.
We have the crosscountry race map for you and this is the same as 2012. The course can be pre-riden ( snow allowing ). The 'Cutoff' marked on the map, the bottom of the Upper Tube, is also where you would turn left rather than right if you want to do the Short Course.

Access to the race site:
Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.  You'll need to be there by 7am to make the race start.  You can take the bus from the ferry but beware the bike racks only take 2 bikes.  If you're up for it you can ride to the race site (about 15kms).
From Langdale, drive towards Roberts Creek.  Look out for our "Mountain Bike Race 1kms sign" then make a right turn up the B&K logging road.  Go 1km and turn right at the power lines where our friendly volunteers will help you find a parking spot.
Our friends coming down from Powell River should take the second left after the traffic lights in Roberts Creek.
There will be a race sign at the foot of the B&K logging road.

Camping:

There is camping close by at both the BC Parks Roberts Creek site about 5 mins drive towards Sechelt and also at the Creekside Campground next to the IGA in Wilson Creek.  Please do not plan to park your large trailers at the race site - they take up 6 parking spots and you will be asked to move.  We just don't have the room.

Accommodation:
Please check out Up The Creek hostel in Roberts Creek and also the Cedars Inn in Gibsons, both long time race sponsors.  They are both offering discounts to racers.
Another successful year!  150 XC racers, and 200 DH racers, a mess of Under 12s, and a corral full of Run Bikers.  A beer garden and salmon bbq was well patronized, and there were many smiling faces on the podium.
We'd like to thank the racers, our 53 volunteers, and our 16 local sponsors.  See Links to results and photos below.
See you next year!
