Access to the race site:
Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale.  You'll need to be there by 7am to make the race start.  You can take the bus from the ferry but beware the bike racks only take 2 bikes.  If you're up for it you can ride to the race site (about 15kms).
From Langdale, drive towards Roberts Creek.  Look out for our "Mountain Bike Race 1kms sign" then make a right turn up the B&K logging road.  Go 1km and turn right at the power lines where our friendly volunteers will help you find a parking spot.
Our friends coming down from Powell River should take the second left after the traffic lights in Roberts Creek.
There will be a race sign at the foot of the B&K logging road.

Camping:

There is camping close by at both the BC Parks Roberts Creek site about 5 mins drive towards Sechelt and also at the Creekside Campground next to the IGA in Wilson Creek.  Please do not plan to park your large trailers at the race site - they take up 6 parking spots and you will be asked to move.  We just don't have the room.

Accommodation:
Please check out Up The Creek hostel in Roberts Creek and also the Cedars Inn in Gibsons, both long time race sponsors.  They are both offering discounts to racers.

Course designer Rod Camposano has been at it again.  He's been hard at work trailbuilding when he should have been riding and skiing this winter and we now have a connecting trail between Ripped Nipple and El Dorado.  For the Coaster this will add another single track downhill, while the BC Bike racers will be climbing it.  This will add another 5kms of single track to the XCM bringing us darn close to that magic 50kms.
