It won't be understating the obvious to prepare yourself for a good 45 kms. There will be a cut off at approximately the half way point at 3 hours after the start. Two feed stations along the way will provide fruit, fig newtons, Gatorade, and water.
We reserve the right to amend the course according weather limitations and any other factors we have no control over.
The course will be the same as last year (2012). The current course map is good and we hope to have the course marked at least two weeks prior to the event. The course map is posted (If you are familiar with the route, pre ride any time. If the snow lets you ride it).
The mass start will be at 10am. Self-seeding according to your expected completion time.
There will be two well-stocked feed stations on course as well as many marshals and first-aiders but we will again supply you with an emergency cell phone number at check-in that you can have in your cell phone for emergencies.
There will be cash prizes again. For the 'Coaster' coasters featuring the wacky art of local rider Sa Boothroyd will be distributed at random on the course. Each has a dollar value on the back which you can collect at the finish - and you get to keep the coaster too!
Pro cash prizing as per BC Cup criteria.
Podium time for the Pro's will be at 13:00h. Followed by the remaining categories.

The popular salmon BBQ hosted by our friends the Sunshine Coast Equestrian Centre. This is a fundraiser for them and as they give us the use of their corrals for our race, we ask that you support them. This year it is included with the XCM entry.
